Inspiring Silver Award Examples
A successful Silver Award project begins with what matters most to your Cadettes—the issues they truly care about—rather than trying to replicate someone else’s idea.
Still, we recognize that seeing examples can be helpful when you’re just getting started. With that in mind, we’ve selected a variety of outstanding Silver Award Take Action projects that address different community needs and demonstrate diverse, creative ways to make a lasting impact.

After being teased about her faith, Natalie chose to focus her Girl Scouts Silver Award project on promoting religious tolerance. At Temple Beth Sholom, she organized an event where nearly 100 middle school students rotated through seven stations to learn about the history, beliefs, and practices of various religions. Participants also engaged in hands-on activities—such as yoga, trying on hijabs, and sampling different foods—to gain a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and traditions.
