Take Action Award! Workshop Series
​for Seniors & Ambassadors Grades 9 -12

Take action on the issue of your choice

Prepare for the Gold Award as you earn the new GSUSA Take Action Leadership Award! This series will boost your confidence as you strengthen your project planning skills  using a badge as your starting point to Take Action. 
Note:  If the Girl Scouts have not completed the badge prior to the session, they will have to complete it before carrying out their Take Action Award Project.

Completing a Take Action Award provides valuable preparation for the Gold Award, as it follows the same process on a smaller scale. All Workshops4girls programs are facilitated by experienced Girl Scout Highest Award experts (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). The programs prioritize the development of skills that contribute directly to the achievement of impactful and successful Gold Awards.

I gained new insight on how to be more proactive in the community realistically.
I enjoyed hearing from the guest speakers about their experiences and advice of what they have for a successful project.
My favorite part of the series was planning out new projects, as it helped me explore and learn about the diversity of Take Action Projects we can make to help our communities.
