True North Award! Workshop for Cadettes
Build Confidence by achieving your goals!
Coming in 2026
Cadette Girl Scouts will strengthen their personal leadership skills as they work toward earning the new GSUSA True North Award. During this virtual workshop, Girl Scout Cadettes will gain confidence while exploring what matters most to them and learning how to stay true to themselves. Meanwhile, Girl Scout Cadettes will develop a plan to take meaningful action toward one of their own goals either a personal goal or one that directly relates to the Silver Award.

Completing a True North Award offers valuable preparation for the Silver Award by guiding Cadettes through self-reflection on their core values and supporting them in developing a plan to achieve personal goals. This process equips them with the skills necessary to break down goals into steps and to identify goals that align with their interests and values when they are ready to select a focus for their Silver Award project.

All Workshops4girls programs are facilitated by experienced Girl Scout Highest Award experts (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).

I think that the overall program was wonderful and I am very happy with everything I learned. This was well organized, easy to follow and super helpful. |
My favorite part of this program was working with the two other girls in my troop with the Take Action project. I also liked meeting new girls from different troops. I learned leadership skills, as well as things like elevator speeches. |
