Since part of the Girltopia Journey high school age Girl Scouts are asked to submit a Pinterest post representing what they think belongs in their Girltopia. Since not everyone has a Pinterest account, here is a collection.

This drawing of multiple eyes on the girl's face is declaring that you have your own eyes so you need to reflect upon yourself by yourself and not worry about what other people are thinking about you

I think this belongs on the page because all girls have these traits. No matter what their background is or what their beliefs are. Also because all girls can do and be anything and everything. They can get the highest position in any work force and they can even create their own business.

This quote shows how many women already have the qualities in order to make a difference, society in general have to make an effort in order to except the change that we are trying to bring.

https://youtu.be/f-8jtBOorpE Sarah Kay I chose this source of inspiration because I love spoken poetry. I think it's so powerful and a wonderful way to communicate with people. I chose this particular poem because it serves as an important reminder that women are so much more than they tend to believe. A line from this poem that I think is absolutely beautiful is... "Some men will want to hold you like the answer You are not the answer You are not the problem You are not the poem or the punch-line or the riddle or the joke

I believe others should be aware of this message because many girls are raped and others would blame it on them due to the way they dressed. For example, there was a case in Ireland where a 27 year old man raped a 17 year old girl and he pointed out to the jury about her choice of underwear. He said that she was wearing a lacy thong, so it was okay (which is NOT okay)

I believe that people should be aware of the difference between misandry and feminism. Some may feel as if feminism is bad because they are mistaking it with misandry, while others will believe that they can get away with bullying the opposite gender by saying that it is feminism. Feminism is an empowering belief and movement that inspires women to pursue their dreams despite others saying that their goal is not suitable for a woman. Feminists have helped women become more equal to the opposite

This photo shows a quote by Eleanor Roo Roosevelt. I chose this as my inspiration because it reminds me of what it means to be a girl scout. We're making the world a better place where EVERYONE can live together peacefully like friends would. However, none of us can do that without being able to be friends with ourselves. Because without this factor, it's impossible to be real friends with anybody else in the world

I chose this pin because it reminded me that we are stronger together. Instead of fighting for our rights by ourselves, we have to support one another. Instead of pointing out each other’s flaws, we have to stand united. Instead of causing drama with one another, we have to fight as one. Girls supporting girls is one statement that sums this post up. It reminds us that women will stand up for each other to the many causes that sees us as weak, delicate, objects, etc. Stronger Together,

“We rise by lifting others.” This quote is one that I found with much importance and quality. The empowering statement expresses how one is able to succeed above and beyond through helping others. As a result of being kind and in assist for one another, not only do those people who were helped rise, but the helper rises higher as well.

This quote demonstrates the true ambition of Mary Wollstonecraft as well as the purpose of Girltopia. As men ridiculed Wollstonecraft and her book, she summed up her dream in this quote, which proves the simplicity of her (and others') desire of freedom for women rather than superiority over men. Despite this, she struggled to persuade men of her justified intentions and women's equality was pointedly removed from the political agenda of the French radicals. Thus, her experience and wishes refle

Truth is saying that women put in the same amount of work as men, and asking why they aren’t receiving the same rights and pay as men. She was a large figure in the fight for women’s suffrage. Two centuries later, her words still prove relevant. With many jobs still extremely male-dominated, and women making less than male counterparts even in the same position, women are looking for change.

Many successful, capable women have had a disdainful person tell them that their career is “a man’s job,” and therefore they should not be performing it. Some may have the false belief that women aren’t strong or intelligent, and so consequently they cannot be in the medical field, for example. But woman can do any job a man can do! A woman can be a leader, a scientist, a doctor, a politician, or anything that she wants to be. Professions aren’t exclusive to one gender or another

This makes me sad. Women are warriors but the media does not represent how courageous and brave and tough we really are. For years we’ve had men superheroes and damsels in distress. And it wasn’t until 2017 that we finally got our first female solo superhero on the movie screen. These days people are more educated on what a woman is able to do and what she is capable of. But we still have so many mountains we have to climb to be seen as physically equal to men. But, I am very happy we are gettin

As girls we are told our whole lives that we are supposed to be these delicate little flowers. That we should say nothing and do nothing, and we should just abide by everything that the world tells us to do. People think that you can make change just by being nice but that doesn’t always work. If you look at any moment in history where something monumental happened, it happened because someone was courageous enough to take action and do what was right. And I get bet you that being nice wasn’t ho
