Building a Survey
An essential component of a strong Take Action project is research to determine that the project idea serves a real need rather than an imagined one. At the conclusion of the project, there also needs to be a way to measure success.
Learning how to give a survey is a great skill to learn and is covered in the Media Journey.
The following survey, from the Media Journey Leader Guide, is designed to introduce the Cadettes to giving a pre-project survey.
In the example shown below, the Girl Scouts learned that opinions varied for different age groups. They were also able to identify several topics that would make great Take Action project issues.
