Prepare for the Gold Award as you earn the new GSUSA Take Action Leadership Award. This series will boost your confidence as you strengthen your project planning skills using a badge as your starting point to Take Action. ​

Upon completion of a Journey or Take Action Award workshop series, participants will have formulated a comprehensive plan for a Take Action Project, to be implemented independently following the series. Additionally, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to undertake a robust Gold Award Take Action Project.
*Note: The Take Action Award sessions will be run concurrently with the Senior Mission Sisterhood journey focusing on healthy relationships. Choosing that theme is optional for Take Action Award attendees.​
Gold Award Planning Workshop
If you have developed your Gold Award idea but are finding the proposal process daunting, this series is designed for you. Seniors and Ambassadors (Grades 9-12) will receive guidance on crafting a comprehensive written Gold Award Project Proposal. Participants will establish a personal timeline aligned with their Girl Scout Council’s deadlines and procedures. The sessions will provide direction on progressing from initial concepts to a detailed proposal using SMART planning strategies. Attendees will also learn how to navigate the GSUSA GoGold online portal.
Troop/Group Advisors who are new to the process are encouraged to attend alongside their Girl Scouts.

Join our live, fully guided 2 session virtual workshop to learn how to pinpoint your interests, move from community service to action, identify root causes, form a team, set goals, and develop a written Silver Award Project Proposal. 
This session is for Cadettes, with a parent or troop leader encouraged to participate. We’ll share practical advice on time management and keeping motivation high. 
Note: This does not replace any Silver Award training offered by your council. It is designed for Girl Scouts who are ready to start their project plan.

True North Award for Juniors Grades 4-5
Junior Girl Scouts will build their personal leadership as they earn the new GSUSA True North Award. This 2-day virtual workshop will supply Girl Scout Juniors with an abundance of confidence as they explore what matters most and how to stay true to themselves. Juniors will create a plan to take meaningful action towards one of their own goals even though it might feel a little hard or scary.
